Koydol-Certified

For all Koydol products, the materials used during the manufacturing process have been rigorously tested for most volatile organic compounds and for compliance with indoor air quality standards (when applicable) for use in high-performance areas such as schools, offices, medical/healthcare facilities, and government buildings. These tests are conducted by each factory and supplier we source from .

Most products bearing the Koydol-Certified label meet the indoor air emissions criteria of LEED Green Building Rating Systems, potentially earning LEED v3 IEQ Credit 4.3 (Low-Emitting Materials—Flooring Systems). Sustainability specifications for each product are noted in our catalogs .

Koydol also offers products that qualify for LEED v3 IEQ Credit 4.4 (Low-Emitting Materials—Composite Wood and Agrifiber Products). These are manufactured using a phenol-formaldehyde adhesive that emits an average of 0.01 ppm of formaldehyde .

Koydol-Certified means that each finished product, each material used in its manufacture and each factory, supplier and facility have been verified by our staff.  It is our guarantee that Koydol products have met our intensive specifications, and that each shipment was quality checked by Koydol before leaving the factory .
